This is a former number one overall draft pick, a guy that wound up out of baseball for nearly three years, Josh Hamilton. A guy that had all the potential in the world, to only have it taken away from him by drugs. I’m sitting here watching one of the most memorable hitting displays in baseball…history! This guy just clubbed 28 home runs during the first round of the MLB Home Run hitting contest. One word…WOW! What a story!
I watched him just finish his second round (the finals as he didn’t have to hit the 2nd round), and well, just impressive overall even if he ’slumped’. And they had the “Rocky” music playing. What a contest. Congrats to Morneau, but the story was still Hamilton!
